Scope: Redesigned all the product dashboards: Summary, Balance Insights, and Balance Trends

End Users: JP Morgan Wealth Management Team

Pain Points

Team members found the previous software interface very time inefficient because of the organization of data and visualizations.
The layout of the data required them to switch screens and led to time-consuming and cumbersome navigation between datasets
in order to analyze the different dataset relationships needed to advise clients.
Users requested a way to consolidate views so they could cross-reference data more easily.

Strategy

I conducted in-depth contextual inquiries with each of the team members regarding their professional use cases and their specific data analysis strategies
for dealing with each one. Based on this information I reorganized and redesigned the content to be more compact and allow efficient
cross-referencing of datasets so the team could conduct their work more efficiently.

Result

The team was quite pleased and were very excited to use the redesigned tool, since they found it far more efficient than it was before.
